These pictures were taken in May of 2010, shortly before Dad really got sick. I remember he and I took Seth up to the Beach Fest in Matthews so he could "get Seth on some of them rides." He always wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time. I had a few pics of Seth from that day but regretted not having any of Dad. I was pleasantly surprised to find one of him on the memory card in Mom's rarely used camera along with a few other missing photos. It's not the best picture, but it's of Seth playing a game and Dad looks likes he's saying something to me. I remember that he payed $10 so Seth could "win" a little basketball with flames on it. The flames are all faded out now, but Seth surprised me when he mentioned that Papa got it for him recently. I didn't think he could remember that. There are also a few pictures of Dad swimming - if you can all it that - with Molly, Sophia and Chase in the blow up baby pool that we would often set up in the car port. Dad loved being in the water - even if it was only 10" deep! (We must not have been there that day.) I'm so glad I ran across that memory card!
